About our cause
We believe that disabled children and young people should enjoy the same play and leisure opportunities as other children and young people.
For over 20 years The Parasol Project has been working in Oxford to support disabled children and young people in enjoying art, drama, music and sport activities alongside their non-disabled peers.
We are asking for your help so we can continue our provision and maybe even expand our services!
In the spirit of inclusion, we also work with a number of other young, disadvantaged groups, including siblings of those with disabilities, children in care, excluded young people, care leavers, young carers, and refugees. We run an inclusive youth group, a Saturday dance project, holiday playschemes which provide respite for parents and carers
Parasol Project has developed a unique inclusive methodology allowing us to proactively encourage these diverse groups to share and take ownership of and even run our activities. We also offer a volunteering programme from child to adult, to develop and build skills for the wider world.

Thank you so much for your support!
Yours sincerely,
Dan Norey
